From Knoxville:

The simplest route from the north and west is to take I-40 to exit 407 east of Knoxville, turning south towards Sevierville on TN 66.  Near Sevierville, you will join US 441 and continue through Pigeon Forge (Dollywood Country!) into Gatlinburg. (Note: US 321 joins US 441 just north of Gatlinburg, about 6-8 miles.)  In the north edge of Gatlinburg, turn east (left) at traffic light #3 (yes... Gatlinburg numbers its traffic lights). This is also where US 321 turns east.  Stay on US 321, also called East Parkway, about 10 miles to the entrance to the Village of Cobbly Nob (on your left). Go through the golf course and follow the signs to Deer Ridge Mountain Resort. Note:  Traffic from Sevierville through Pigeon Forge can be heavy during peak seasons.

From I-81:

You will probably be traveling SW on I-81 toward Knoxville/Asheville.  At the intersection of I-40 and I-81, turn left onto I-40 east (really heading south) toward Asheville.  Exit I-40 at exit 435 going (southwest) on US 321 toward Gatlinburg.  Stay on US 321 about 18 miles to the entrance to the Village of Cobbly Nob (on your right). Go through the golf course and follow the signs to Deer Ridge Mountain Resort.  Note: There are gas stations and a Super Wal-Mart at exit 435.)

From the East:

If you are coming from the east on I-40, take exit 443 toward the west (left). This will put you on a section of the Foothills Parkway (about 5.6 miles) that will dead end into US 321.  Turn left onto US 321 and follow US 321 approximately 9 miles to the entrance to the Village of Cobbly Nob (on your right). Go through the golf course and follow the signs to Deer Ridge Mountain Resort.  Note: There are gas stations and a Super Wal-Mart at exit 435.).

From US 321 in Gatlinburg to Deer Ridge Mountain Resort

Getting to Deer Ridge from US 321 will be your first introduction to mountain driving. Look for a small sign on the north side of US 321 that has "Village of Cobbly Nob" on the top and "Deer Ridge" below. The turn off US 321 puts you on Butler Branch Road which crosses a very pretty golf course. Deer Ridge is about 1.7 miles from the entrance. Watch carefully for the signs and watch for traffic on sharp corners.  Stay on Butler Branch Road (for 0.5 miles) until you reach a sharp turn back to the left and up hill onto Deer Path Lane....this turn is easy to miss.  Watch for signs!  Continue up the hill and around several turns on Deer Path Lane about 0.7 miles to Weber Road, on the left.  This is the entrance and leads directly to Deer Ridge. This corner is well marked.  You will pass three 3-story buildings (marked A, B, and C).  The fourth building is the office and check-in location.  Did you get lost? Hope you had fun!!
